Cant read Japanese. Fails to recognize 95% of Japanese text. Completely unusable.

The Japanese reading capabilities are weak.

Usefull and simple

Exports to the "word" as .doc is not good. Need to select the encoding characters when I open the document on pc. Are not visible buttons "cancel" and "send" when sending documents via e-mail.

App worked ok for me - wish there was option to preserve document spacing when using ocr

The app works flawlessly with black and white. Has some issues with color but the key to make it work is to take a very good pic of your document. The sharing capabilities are excellent plus the exports work great.

This app is decent with taking pictures of printed text but does not recognize written text very well. Also sometimes adds in random symbols that you have to manually remove.

Does what its supposed to do. There is one catch. The App uploads your document to a server for recognition, therefore its not recommended for use with any sensitive information.

This solution (iPad plus this app) worked way better on less than perfect text than either of my very good desktop scanners (Canon 8800 and 9000) for a very simple reason. The onboard software/firmware in a desktop unit is simply no match for a large offsite computer with software that can be continuously improved. The turnaround time for receiving text back from an image was typically 7 seconds!

Helps a lot with my work. The new update also made it better and I have yet to find any problems with it. 5/5

Tried to scan a very simple black and white memo. This app couldnt even do something simple. Horrible ocr. I want my money back

Do not use for scanning sensitive information.

Works when I needed it. Cut a lot of data entry on my part. Just had to edit every now & then & worked great on Spanish type including the accents & tildes! Works best with paragraphs or high contrast pages & only so so on images with text. Still a great app!
