Scanner with OCR (Optical Character Recognition) - Document Scan to PDF, Email and word & Translation App Reviews

Tried to use this app. Toke awhile would not scan a 8 x 11 printer hotel bill. Not happy with it at all

This app is a joke. I tried to convert a typed document and it gave me half a line of gibberish.

As long as your page is flat and the light is good, your hand steady and the font legible, this app is surprisingly effective. But any variation in any of those will wreak havoc with the output.

This app totally awesome! and also powerfull for me

I bought this app to scan recipes to put into a recipe manager. It was beyond useless. Even though the text was clear and legible, the OCR feature didnt recognize a single word. I even clean up the images and adjusted the contrast, it only read one word. CamScanner and Fine Scanner are both free and do a much better job. CamScanner was instantaneous and read 98% of my recipes. I would give this zero stars and ask for my money back if I could.

Crashes every time on iPhone 4s. Works great on iPhone 5

Really like the app, helpful, functional and really useful. Its really handy for school jobs. Saved me a whole lot of time. GREAT APP!!!

I scanned several different types of documents and I only managed to get the OCR to recognize 5 words in total. The scanner worked fine. But the OCR is useless!

Awesome! This app has immediately opened a much need door for fluid dialogue from images of text in foreign languages. The speed of conversation is quick enough to permit interchange of idea with people on social media. Though the translation is quick the accuracy of the translation from Russian is about 80% allowing for basic understanding.

This app is amazing! No need to say more.

This is a top notch app. After trying to convert a doc on another OCR app to no avail I tried this one and voilà! 99% correct processing of the article. And the errors were due to weird fonts and titles used on the doc so Im not gonna ding the app for them. All in all, great app.

This doesnt recognize a thing. It cant even translate the sample document. This app is just a laughable. I think weve been punked!

Amazing app! I was just about to go on Amazon and buy the new pen thats going around that can scan what you want from a text into writing. I think this app beats the pen only because it was a lot quicker than I imagine scanning and individual line slowly and steadily. Aside from the time it also saved me loads of money about $100 to be honest haha! Only problem is the accuracy but once you play around with the App. You realize that scanning/ taking pictures in smaller portions makes the accuracy on the text a lot better saving time on editing! That is all for now. Thank you who ever made the App! I honestly thought about this and am so happy someone finally invented it haha!

Didnt recognize a single word and it was from a book so the letter were super clear

Fast and accurate compared to several others I have tried.

But its not iOS 9 compatible and when I go to the developers website it says theres no such address so Ill be asking for my money back!
